Our Celebration of Life at O'Conner Mortuary was seamless and graceful. This was a very sad and stressful day for our entire family but everything was perfect. Cynthia and her team truly took care of us. Our friends and family lauded the food and service (they were truly a blessing to our friends & family). Thanks for handling my Grandmothers funeral service years ago and now my Fathers funeral service.Thanks for doing such an amazing job!

Hi Cynthia. I wanted to say thank you for all that you did for the Celebration of Life we had for my Mother-in-Law. Thank you for being so accommodating with our tight turn around schedule for the Memorial and getting everything handled so quickly and flawlessly. Your kindness and empathy during our conversations led to that beautiful seed display, which my Mother-in-Law would have loved so much. The day of the execution was beautiful and our guests. They left us with many compliments regarding the setup and of course the food. The menu you suggested was perfect and delicious. Thank you again for everything- I hope to work with you again in the future for a more joyous celebration.

Following the recent passing of my beloved wife, I reached out to Breakwater Events and Catering to help me plan a memorial service for her. After I first met Cynthia, I was so relieved because under such stress I couldn't have found a more caring and thoughtful planner. Cynthia spent a full morning with me just listening to the story of my wife....she wanted to get to know her. Cynthia continued to work with me ensuring that I was satisfied on how the service would capture the essence of my wife. Cynthia and her amazing team captured all those elements of my wife's personality into the actual presentation and service. The Breakwater Events team not only created a beautiful atmosphere but also did a lovely job with the catering as well. All the friends and family who attended the service later told me how beautiful and fitting and representative of my wife everything was. I am pleased to provide these thoughts and review for the incredible professionalism and personal touches I received from Cynthia and her team during this entire process. I highly recommend Breakwater Events and Catering for help during such difficult times.

I can't express how happy I am with Breakwater and everyone that works there. Cynthia, Doug & their staff were a dream to work with. From the coordination to the day of, everything went perfect. Cynthia responds immediately and helped me every step of the way. She took my vision and made it my dream wedding. The venue is stunning and I never would have imagined a wedding going this smoothly. They truly care about you and your special day and go above and beyond to make it your best day ever. Thank you so much for making my dreams come true.

Cynthia and Doug are amazing! They handled the food, cake and decorations. Cynthia's enthusiasm to help us was incredible. She organized everything within 2 weeks. The food was excellent and the decorations and set up was beautiful. Thank you Cynthia and Doug for making our wedding so special.

Cynthia and Doug are absolute Gods!!!! We had our reception here and from the day we booked this venue to our Wedding day last weekend, they have been incredible to work with. The second we walked in the door September 2016, they made my husband and I feel like family, they truly cared about us and our story, it was a beautiful time meeting them and we knew the second we left where we would be having our wedding (not to mention we have bragged to everyone for the past year how incredible they are). Their professionalism to set-up a seamless reception for 135 people was astonishing, their attention to detail to create the most personalized and special room brought such a warmth to our heart, and their passion to assure every guest would have a great time was simply incredible. Every single one of our guests has non-stopped told us how amazing our wedding was and how they wish we could do it all over again, they have continually said it was by far the best wedding they have EVER been to (including those who were married themselves). From the decor, to the food, to the dancing....it was the BEST DAY EVER!!! Thank you Cynthia, Doug, and your entire team for creating Justen and I's dream wedding past any vision we had. We love you!

Cynthia and Douglas are sincerely the best. They helped us through the all process for our wedding and we couldn't be more happy. The venue itself it's amazing, plus the service you get from them is absolutely perfect. Great view, great food and great service. All the staff that works with Cynthia and Douglas are super friendly and caring. Thank you so much Cynthia and Dough again so much for making our wedding unforgettable.
